How to Create Content Collaboration Post

What is Content Collaboration on Swappsy?

Content Collaboration on Swappsy allows users to work together on upcoming articles by exchanging link placements in a structured way.

When a user plans to publish an article, they create a collaboration post by sharing the article title and a draft link.

Other users can then request to add their website link to that article. If the original poster approves the request, the link is included in the final content. In return, the requesting user typically provides a link placement on another relevant website, creating a mutually beneficial exchange.

  • Community members browse the Main Feed and find your collaboration opportunity.
  • They send an interest with their message and website details.
  • Review the interest – Check their website metrics and message to decide if they are a good fit.
  • Approve the interest to open a conversation and share the draft link.
  • Collaborate via messaging to finalize content details, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Publish the content and complete the collaboration.
  • Rate each other based on the experience.

Tips for Content Collaborations

  • Set a realistic publish date. Give yourself and your collaborator enough time to produce quality content.
  • Share a draft early. Using the draft link field helps collaborators understand your expectations.
  • Be specific in your notes. Mention word count, tone, target audience, and any topics to avoid.
  • Check the collaborator’s website. Make sure their content quality and audience align with your goals before approving.
