Age Checker “the App” provides “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, such as your store name and domain, the name, email address and locale of the staff account that installed it, and the products and collections in your store, including their titles and images.
We read your products and collections so that you can choose which of them the age gate applies to, and the ones you select are saved with your age checker settings. We also read your published theme, in order to confirm that the age gate is active on it, and store any logo image you choose to upload for use on the gate.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you to operate the Service: to store and apply your age gate settings, to confirm that the App is active on your published theme, to show you aggregate analytics for your own store, and to manage your subscription and billing. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to track visitors across other websites.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Data Retention
We keep your settings and aggregate counts for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App or request erasure, your store record, your session and all aggregate counts are deleted. The cookie and browser storage entries described above expire on their own, according to the setting you choose, and can be removed at any time by clearing browser data.
Your Rights
