The backlink marketplace built for real SEO agencies and link builders

Buy backlinks that are checked the day they go live, and watched every day after.

No fee. You pay the seller directly, and Swappsy checks the link and tells you if it breaks, for 6 or 12 months after it goes live. Every site is reviewed before its first listing goes up.

A free account is all you need. Sellers set their own prices, and you see them before you order.

No fee on placements

You pay the seller by PayPal or Wise. Swappsy never holds the money.

Checked when it is published

Link, anchor text, rel, sponsorship note and indexing, before the order completes.

Watched after

Re-checked several times a day for 6 or 12 months. A broken link gets 3 days to be fixed.

§01How buying works

How buying a placement works

Follow one order: a new article on startupstack.io, writer included, $180, published within 5 days of payment.

  1. Oct 6

Step 1: Choose a placement and order

Filter by niche, DR, link type, price and more. Send an order request with your target page and anchor text, and offer a lower price if you like. Buying for several clients? Add placements to the cart and send them together.

Orders don't expire, and you can cancel any time before you pay.

  2. Oct 6

Step 2: Pay the seller directly

Once the seller accepts, you pay them by PayPal or Wise, using the details on the order, then click I've paid. Add a reference or a screenshot if you like. The seller confirms when the money arrives. Swappsy takes no fee.

  3. By Oct 11

    Step 3: The seller publishes

startupstack.io publishes within 5 days of your payment, so the article is due by Oct 11. When it's live, the seller pastes its URL. Some sellers publish before they are paid; either way you pay them directly.

  4. Same day

    Step 4: Checked right away

The crawler opens the page and runs six checks, shown in Fig. 2. Only when they pass is the order completed. If one fails, the seller fixes the page and checks again.

  5. Until Oct 2027

Step 5: Watched for 12 months

This listing is watched for a year (others for 6 months). If the link is removed or changed, the seller has 3 days to fix it. If they don't, they get a strike and you can report the order to Swappsy.

§02The sites

Know the site before you pay

Every listing says where its numbers come from.

Reviewed

Reviewed before it sells

A Swappsy reviewer approves each site before its first listing goes up. They see how the owner verified it, its DR, its Google clicks, its niche and the sample links the seller gave, and they can reject a site with a reason.

Sellers also agree to the Content & Link Policy: no hidden links, no exact-match anchor spam, no PBNs or link farms.

Traffic

Traffic straight from Google

When a seller connects Search Console, the Google clicks on the listing come from there and refresh once a day. Sites that haven't are marked self-reported, and one filter, Verified traffic only, hides them.

DR is Ahrefs' number, fetched when the site is added.

Record

A record from real orders

On time is the share of paid orders where the seller sent the live link within the days they listed. Still live is the share of finished orders whose link was not left broken. Both are counted from order history, not typed in.

A seller with no finished orders is marked New seller. Buyers can also rate the seller after an order.

§03After it is live

Checked when it's published, watched after

Swappsy never holds your money, so it can't refund you. What it does is check the link, tell you when it breaks, and put the seller's record on the line.

  1. Checked when it's published

The crawler confirms the link to your page, the anchor text, the rel, a sponsorship note on the page, that Google can index it and that its canonical points to itself. A hidden link fails. If something is off, the seller fixes it before the order is completed.

  2. Watched several times a day

For 6 or 12 months after publishing, depending on the listing. Lifetime listings are watched for the first 12 months. The link also joins your Backlinks, labeled Paid, alongside every other link you monitor.

  3. Fixed, or a strike

If the link is removed or changed, you and the seller are told, and the seller has 3 days to fix it. If they don't, they get a strike, Swappsy stops watching that order, and you can report it for an admin to review.

  4. On the seller's record

A broken link lowers the seller's still live figure, which every buyer sees before ordering. A strike is a warning on the seller's record. Three strikes send the site to an admin for review, and sellers with repeated strikes are removed from the marketplace.

  5. If it goes wrong

On a finished order, Report a problem: Swappsy re-checks the page at once, and an admin closes the order for you with a strike for the seller, warns the seller, or takes no action. Before the order is finished, either side can open a dispute and an admin decides it. Money you paid is settled between you and the seller.

  6. Renew before it ends

6- and 12-month placements can be renewed from 30 days before the watch ends, at the seller's renewal price or the original price. You pay the seller directly again, and watching carries on from the old end date.

§04For sellers

Sell placements on your site

If your site has real readers, buyers will pay for a link on it. They can filter for verified traffic, and they see your record before they order.

Swappsy takes no cut. Minimum price is $10 a placement.

  1. Step 1: Verify the site

Prove you own it with Search Console (as owner or full user), a DNS record, a meta tag, or a code sent by email. Connecting Search Console also gives buyers verified Google clicks, refreshed once a day.

  2. Step 2: List what you sell

Fill in your niche, language and country, then set a price for each placement you sell: a new article, a link in an existing article or a spot in a tool roundup. Each has a price per link type, how fast you publish and how long it stays live. Add buyer requirements and Swappsy screens every order against them.

  3. Step 3: Save how buyers pay you, then send it for review

Add your PayPal or Wise details on the Get paid page, accept the seller terms and the Content & Link Policy, and send the site for review. An admin approves or rejects it, and your prices go live once it's approved.

  4. Step 4: Publish and paste the URL

When an order comes in, accept it, ask for changes or counter the price. Then publish the link and paste the page's URL. The crawler checks it right away.

  5. Step 5: Get paid

The buyer pays you directly, to the details you saved, usually before you publish. Click Payment received when the money arrives. Swappsy takes no cut and never holds the money.

§05Versus outreach

Why a link building marketplace beats cold outreach

Cold emails disappear. A backlink marketplace puts reviewed sites and active opportunities in one place.

Reviewed sellers

Reviewed sites only

Sellers verify that they own their site, and a Swappsy reviewer approves every site before its first listing goes up. No random freelancers.

One place

Order and talk in one place

See a site you like? Send an order request and agree the details in the order messages. Email addresses and phone numbers stay hidden until the seller accepts.

Terms up front

Transparent terms

The price, link type, how long it stays live and how fast the seller publishes are on every listing before you order. Free swaps live on Link exchange.

§06Fit

Get backlinks that actually fit your site

This is not a directory of random links. It is a curated link building marketplace built around relevance and transparency.

Relevance

Get relevant backlinks

Filter by niche, DR, link type and price, then by Google clicks, country and language, so you only see sites that match your topic and audience.

Quality

Buy high quality backlinks

DR, Google clicks and niche are on every listing, and each number says where it comes from. Clicks that aren't from Search Console are labeled self-reported.

Monitoring

Backlink monitoring included

Every link you buy joins your Backlinks, labeled Paid, and Swappsy tells you if it changes or is removed.

Origin

Built by a real link builder

Swappsy was built by someone tired of spreadsheets, cold emails and unreliable link sellers. Every feature solves a real campaign problem.

§07White hat

Buying backlinks the white hat way

There is a right way and a wrong way to purchase backlinks. Buying backlinks for SEO only works long term if the links come from real, relevant, editorially placed content. That is the only kind of backlink Swappsy's policy allows.

Every paid link is disclosedThe page has to say it's sponsored, whatever the link type, and the crawler looks for it.
The rel matches what was soldSponsored, no-follow, UGC or do-follow, as the listing says. Each listing shows its link type.
No PBNs, link farms or hidden linksThe Content & Link Policy also bans exact-match anchor spam and promises of Google rankings.
No prohibited industriesAdult, gambling, crypto, pharma and other listed categories are refused, as publisher or as link target.

§09FAQ

Marketplace questions

1

How are sites verified?

The seller proves they own the site with Search Console (as an owner or full user), a DNS record, a meta tag or a code sent by email. Connecting Search Console also gives the listing Google clicks that refresh once a day. A site that hasn't connected it shows its clicks as self-reported, and the Verified traffic only filter hides it. Every site is also reviewed before its first listing goes up.

2

What if the link I bought is removed?

It's watched for 6 or 12 months after it's published, depending on the listing (Lifetime listings: the first 12 months). If the link is removed or changed, you and the seller both hear about it, and the seller has 3 days to fix it. If they don't, the seller gets a strike, Swappsy stops watching that order, and you can report the order for Swappsy to review. Swappsy never holds your money, so it can't refund you. The removal also lowers the seller's still live figure, which every buyer sees.

3

Can I get a refund before the link is published?

You pay only after the seller accepts your order, so until then you can cancel at no cost, and orders don't expire. You pay the seller directly, and Swappsy never holds your money, so it can't refund you. After you've paid you can still cancel until the seller publishes, but the money is settled between you and the seller. If something goes wrong, open a dispute and Swappsy decides. If it's decided for you, the order is closed against the seller with a strike.

4

How do sellers get paid?

The buyer pays the seller directly, by PayPal or Wise. Once the seller accepts an order, the buyer sees the payment details the seller saved on the Get paid page, and the seller confirms when the money arrives. The buyer can add a reference or a screenshot when they click I've paid. Swappsy takes no commission and never holds the money.

5

What if the seller is late?

Each listing says how many days the seller publishes within, counted from your payment. A late seller lowers their on time figure, and the order shows you they are late, with buttons to message them or open a dispute.

6

Should a paid link be marked sponsored?

Google asks for rel="sponsored" or nofollow on links that were paid for, and treats paid links meant to pass ranking credit as a link scheme. Each listing shows its link type, and you can filter for sponsored links. Whatever you order, the crawler checks the rel on the published link, so you get what the listing says.

7

Is it safe to buy backlinks?

It depends entirely on where they come from. Buying backlinks for SEO from link farms or PBNs is risky and can hurt your rankings. Buying from a marketplace of reviewed sites with real readers is a completely different situation. That is the model Swappsy runs on.

8

How do I know I am getting quality backlinks?

Every listing shows DR, Google clicks and niche before you order, and says whether the clicks are verified. You can also read the seller's record, and you agree the details with them in the order messages before you pay.

9

Can I buy backlinks for website growth on a small budget?

Yes. Sellers set their own prices, from $10, so you can sort by price and start small as your budget grows. If you'd rather not pay, you can find free swaps on Link exchange.

10

Do you offer backlink packages for agencies?

There are no fixed packages. Agencies add placements for several client sites to one cart and send all the order requests at once. Every purchased link lands in Backlinks, where you can search and sort by site and partner.

11

How does Swappsy compare with other backlink marketplaces?

Swappsy takes no fee, reviews every site before its first listing goes up and watches each link for 6 or 12 months after it's published. For a side-by-side look at the main options, read our guide to the best backlink marketplaces.

12

What is a link insertion?

A link insertion, also called a niche edit, adds your link to an article that is already published instead of a new one. Sellers on Swappsy can price a link in an existing article next to new articles and tool roundup spots. Our guide to link insertions and niche edits explains how they work and what to check first.

13

Are these white hat backlinks?

The Content & Link Policy bans PBNs, link farms, hidden links and exact-match anchor spam, and every paid link has to be disclosed as sponsored. Every site is reviewed before its first listing goes up. Google still treats paid links that pass ranking credit as a link scheme, which is why each listing shows its link type.
