Getting started with Swappsy

Swappsy helps you get backlinks from real sites, through link exchanges with other site owners or by buying placements, and then watches every link so you know the moment one disappears. Your Getting started checklist on Home follows these five steps and ticks each one off as you go.

1. Add and verify your site

Everything starts with a site you own. Open Sites and connect Google Search Console: every site in it is added and verified in one go, with its real Google traffic. You can also verify a site with a DNS record, a meta tag or an email to an address at your domain. Read more.

2. Add the backlinks you already have

Open Backlinks and add your links one by one, or import the list you keep in a spreadsheet, Ahrefs, Semrush or Search Console. Swappsy opens every linking page once a day. Read more.

3. Create a post or find partners

Tell other site owners what you offer with a link exchange post, or browse Partners and send a request to a site you like. Read more.

4. Complete your first deal

When a request is accepted, a deal starts. Each side places one link by the deadline and pastes the page in the deal; Swappsy checks it right away and completes the deal by itself when both links are live. Read more.

5. Let Swappsy watch your links

Every link from a deal, a purchase or your own list is checked daily. If a link is removed, changes, or doesn't match the agreed Type, you get an alert. Read more.
